Malang' leaked by Tamilrockers; another film falls prey to piracy
The Aditya Roy Kapur and Disha Patani starrer Malang has been leaked online by the notorious piracy website Tamilrockers. Directed by Mohit Suri, the film released this Friday to largely negative reviews. The recent incident of film leaking will further hit Malang box office collection. The film revolves around murder, madness and mysteries combined together in the background of romance, adventure sports, revenge and some gritty characters.
Apart from Aditya Roy Kapur and Disha Patani, Malang also stars Anil Kapoor in a lead role. The film is likely to earn less than Rs 5 crore on the first day of its release, believes film trade analyst, critic and influencer Sumit Kadel, who also criticised the film for its predictable screenplay. In a tweet on Thursday evening, Kadel predicted Malang box office collection to be between Rs 3.5 crore to Rs 4.5 crore on the first day.
Kadel predicted that the other release of the week, Shikara should earn around Rs 1.5 crore on day 1 while Hacked's box office collections can be less than Rs 10 lakh. "My opening day box office expectations from tomorrow releases- #Malang- ₹ 3.5-4.5 cr, #Shikara - 1-1.5 cr, #Hacked- ₹ 5-10 lakhs," he tweeted
