Filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film ‘Sooryavanshi’ starring Akshay Kumar in the lead role is one of the most awaited films of the year. The makers of the film were about to unveil the trailer on February 27. However, according to latest reports, the trailer release date has been pushed ahead. According to a report in a news portal, the trailer of ‘Sooryavanshi’ will be out on March 2. The film releases on March 27 but the makers of the movie are confident that a 25-day window is enough for promotions.
Elaborating more on the same, the report stated that Akshay Kumar's lucky number is 9. The date 02-03-2020 adds up to 9. As a result, he is keen to get the trailer out on this day. Even February 27 was selected for the same reason for the launch.
Stills and teaser posters of the movie have been building up the excitement levels amongst the fans. The cop-action film is all set to hit the theatres on March 27, 2020.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Akshay has his hands full with some very interesting projects which include, ‘Bell Bottom’, ‘Bachchan Pandey’, ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ and ‘Atrangi Re’. Katrina, on the other hand, has been majorly in the news for her rumoured love affair with Vicky Kaushal.
Sooryavanshi brings back Katrina and Akshay together on the big screen after nine years. The two have previously worked in films such as Namastey London, Sing Is Kinng, Humko Deewana Kar Gaye, Welcome and Tees Maar Khan. Talking about the experience of working with Akshay, Katrina earlier said, "Akshay is one of the most hardworking actors I know. In fact I learnt so much from him -- the dedication, the punctuality. It also helps that he has a great sense of humour."
